Bethlehem Central Scholarships
You will be notified if you were selected to receive a scholarship at the Senior Awards Ceremony in May. There will be a reception immediately following the ceremony at the school for scholarship recipients to meet the scholarship donor. If you are selected for a scholarship please plan to attend the brief meet-and-greet. Choose which of the scholarships you want to apply for and click the link to complete the scholarship application.
DEADLINE: March 6, 2022 at midnight.
Items you will need to complete and submit your online application:
- A copy of your resume: must be a .doc, .docx or .pdf file. DO NOT USE ANY OTHER FILE TYPE.
- A copy of your transcript: must be a .doc, .docx or .pdf file. DO NOT USE ANY OTHER FILE TYPE.

- Any additional documents needed to be uploaded: please review each scholarship for the specific application requirements.
- Do not use your high school issued email address. The Foundation may need to reach you after graduation.

Jonathan A. Albert Memorial Scholarship
- One award of $500
- Resident of the Town of Bethlehem who has attended BCHS for grades 9-12 (all four years)
- Applicant must demonstrate through an essay and a letter of recommendation that they have overcome one or more obstacles as an individual to accomplish a certain task or feat beyond what was expected. Please note that obstacles/achievements must be those of the applicant as an individual – not those of the applicant's team or group. For example, overcoming a speech difficulty to become captain.

Bethlehem Senior Projects, Inc.
- Two awards of $500
- Student must be a graduating senior from Bethlehem Central High School.
- Student must plan to attend a two or four-year college or university, or a professional certificate program in a medical services-related field.
- Student must be pursuing a career an area of human services, social work or medical services with plans to assist the elderly.
- Student must demonstrate strong character and commitment to serving others as evidenced by the student resume, an essay, and one letter of recommendation.

Frances A. Cocozza Memorial Scholarship
- One award of $2,000
- Participation in dance or musical theater, in or out of the high school setting
- Plans to continue involvement with dance or musical theater after high school

Russell Ellers Memorial Scholarship
- One award of $1,000
- Minimum of B average during senior year, or demonstrated effort to do so
- Demonstrable athletic ability, sense of humor, willingness to help others
- Faced personal, family or economic hardship

Dorothy McDonald Memorial Scholarship
- One award of $1,000
- Plans to pursue a career in education or human services

Ken Neff Eagle Award
- One award of $2000
- Be a graduating senior from Bethlehem Central High School
- Upon high school graduation, student will have completed a total of four credits from the following courses: Earth Science, Chemistry (Regents or AP), Physics (Regents or AP), or any Technology course
- Have participated in a Junior Varsity or Varsity sport for at least one full season
- Be enrolled/attending a 2 or 4 year college or university

Norek Family Spanish & Study Abroad Scholarship
- One award of $1,000
- Completed at least 3 years of study in Spanish
- Successfully passed the NYS Regents exams in Spanish
- Plans to pursue a college degree that will include continued study of Spanish
